2024 - 2025
Known as Camila Montreal, I’m now a content creator in Canada, focusing on travel, lifestyle, and immersive experiences. I’m very happy and honored to have 126k followers on Instagram, 330k on TikTok, and 146k subscribers on YouTube.
Besides creating content for my own profiles, I work as a social media manager for several brands and run a digital marketing agency in Brazil. I also collaborate with brands and companies to boost their online presence and promote their products and services.
I’ve been to 27 countries and love traveling. I’m passionate about trying new foods and have a cute 10-year-old dog named Baby. I try to learn something new every day, love challenges, and enjoy starting new hobbies.
2019 - 2021
I finished my Marketing degree and started a postgraduate course in Innovation Marketing. As a Marketing Coordinator at a company, I gained experience training teams, leading, and working with people in the corporate world.
As a content creator, I took my first sponsored trips representing big brands and attending media events. I decided to start my own business, specialized in digital marketing, taught classes, created courses, and soon after, I chose to work only as an entrepreneur and content creator 🥹
I got my first students and celebrated every bit of their growth. I invested in top professionals, took many courses, wanted to give up, but kept going.
2009 - 2015
The last years of school were tough because I studied in the mornings, took music classes in the afternoons, and studied for college entrance exams at night.
At 17, I moved alone to the capital to study at UNESP. But the difficulty of making a living with music in Brazil and the loneliness of rehearsals discouraged me. I lived three years in student housing with 10 other girls, sharing costs, until I got a job as a waitress and rented my first room. I left college, started looking for ways to travel while working, and found life on cruise ships. 🚢
It was the most life-changing experience I’ve had. At 20, I boarded alone, without knowing English, and worked at sea for many months. I visited 9 countries, learned two languages, and matured really fast. That’s when I realized my place was the world. After that adventure, I fulfilled another dream: visiting Disney.
The magic was so strong I kept thinking, “What do I need to do to come back here?” That trip made me want to live every moment as a new discovery. 🏰
1994 - 1999
I was born on a Tuesday, September 6, 1994. I grew up in a town of 30,000 people in the countryside of São Paulo.
My dreams were to fly on a plane, see snow, and go to Disney. I remember praying in my grandma’s backyard, wishing it would snow 😂
I grew up wanting to be a flight attendant, but speaking English and leaving Brazil felt far from my reality. I loved watching The Lion King, playing soccer, and flying kites.
I was the oldest grandchild among five cousins, so I always played with the boys and often came home with scrapes and bruises! I think that’s a great sign of how wild I was as a kid, right?
2022 - 2023
I fulfilled my dream of living abroad and having an experience in another country. Leaving my whole life in Brazil, I moved with my husband, a dog, and two suitcases to start fresh in Canada.
In just one month in this new country, I got a job as a Social Media Manager at a major Canadian media company, where I worked for a year and a half. At the same time, I kept creating content and doing amazing collaborations with brands like Universal Studios, Hard Rock, Western Union, and Get Your Guide on my social media.
Fun fact: Fate brought me to Montreal, a name I had registered as my stage name in 2020 (a mix of Monteiro Ferreira Alves), and today, by coincidence, Montreal is my home 🇨🇦
2016 - 2018
My creative side came back during this time. I went back to working with music, playing in an orchestra, and fulfilled my dream of winning a world music championship in California 🏆
Meanwhile, I started a marketing degree, launched my YouTube channel, learned to edit videos and photos, and took courses on digital marketing and content creation. After dating for 7 years, Lincoln and I got married, and I fulfilled my dream of seeing snow on our honeymoon in Chile! Little Cami was so happy! 😍
I started looking for jobs related to travel and marketing because I really wanted to go back to Disney. I learned so much during that time and have so many people to thank! I worked in stores, airports, events, exhibitions, training sessions, fairs... Met so many amazing people, made lifelong partners, and studied a lot! 🎓
2000 - 2007
At school, all my teachers said I was very smart and creative, but I talked too much in class. I was a very hyperactive kid, always full of ideas and creating shows to perform for my family.
I loved playing the flute at home and singing in church, so I started studying music through a social project in my city, and that’s where everything changed.
I spent over 10 years in classical music, and it was there that I met Lincoln, who became my husband years later.
